At Routescan, we’re building the infrastructure that powers multi-chain data exploration. Behind the scenes, we know that clear, accurate, and compliant financial operations are critical to that mission.

We’re looking for an Accounting Support Specialist to help manage our day-to-day financial operations and support our external accountant with accurate, timely data for statutory reporting and tax compliance. If you're meticulous, curious, and eager to grow in a cross-functional, international environment, this role is for you.

This is a hands-on role that blends general accounting duties with broader exposure to financial reporting, compliance, and multi-country accounting frameworks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll support the financial backbone of Routescan by:

• Maintaining accurate and organized financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliations.
• Assisting with monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entries and internal trial balances.
• Preparing internal financial summaries and reports (e.g., P&L snapshots, cash flow overviews).
• Providing accurate documentation and data to our external accountant for official filings and compliance.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Supporting payroll data collection and general financial documentation.
• Helping ensure compliance with local (Romanian in the first place) and international tax requirements.
• Aiding in audits and improving internal financial controls.
• Reviewing SaaS/vendor contracts for financial consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborating across departments (e.g., legal, ops) on finance-related processes and reporting.
